Who We Are
ReMakery Collective is a group of artists, design professionals, and community program directors dedicated to the recycling, upcycling, and reuse of interior design and textiles waste. We help artists, community centers, schools, and victims of the recent Los Angeles wildfires with our donations of time, materials, and services.
Our Initiatives
Community Outreach
We help design studios and wholesale vendors reduce their waste by collecting their discarded materials for reuse. We also collect quality art supplies for use by those who lost their studios in the recent wildfires.
Resource Reuse
Resource management projects focus on developing efficient systems for waste collection, sorting, and recycling. By implementing innovative solutions and engaging with local stakeholders, we work towards minimizing waste generation and promoting circular economy principles.
Educational Support
We donate collected materials to community centers, schools, quilting groups, artists, designers, and students. These programs enrich the community while saving thousands of dollars worth of high end material from the landfill.
